Vijay Menon is a Bangalore-based marketing, marcom and corporate communication consultant with wide experience in building IT, BPO and technology brands. At small companies, Vijay works as an outsourced CMO and takes ownership of the entire marketing program. At large companies, he works on specific projects to fill a skill or experience gap.
Vijay was most recently vice president of marketing at QuEST and Infosys BPO. He began his career in R&D and worked as an analyst in the media before moving to IT marketing in the mid-90s. This background gives him deep insight into how companies and technologies are perceived very differently by their different stakeholders –- customers, employees, analysts, media and investors.
